Description
The Prestigious World Maritime Technology Conference (WMTC) provides a valuable global forum for experts from many of the different disciplines that make up the maritime industry to share their progress and achievements with their peers in the maritime field.
For 2012 the 4th WMTC (previously the event has taken place in San Francisco, London and Mumbai) event will take place in St Petersburg and will be hosted by NTOS (Science & Technology Society of Shipbuilders of the Russian Federation). The event will feature a peer-reviewed technical conference, a major exhibition, a visiting vessels programme, social programme and other networking opportunities for marine and maritime professionals around the world.

Description
The Maritime Security Conference 2012 will take place at the Westin Nova Scotian Hotel, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, from 4 to 7 June, 2012. Building on the success of the last year, the conference will be co-sponsored by the Combined Joint Operations from the Sea Centre of Excellence (CJOS COE) and the Centre of Excellence for Operations in Confined and Shallow Waters (COE CSW).
This year, the conference will develop around four objectives:
a. Enhance National Maritime Security Governance: Develop a comprehensive, whole of government approach
b. Enhance Interregional Maritime Security Governance: Develop the way ahead for international maritime security cooperation and awareness
c. Improve Capabilities – Data Fusion Systems – Design and Standards: Design effective, interoperable and affordable maritime security cooperation and awareness infrastructure
d. Identify Future Maritime Security Challenges: Provide a projection for maritime security challenges and how to engage them.

Description
Following the success of previous ASRANet Colloquia (Glasgow 2002, Barcelona 2004, Glasgow 2006, Athens 2008 and Edinburgh 2010), the Organising Committee now invites papers from researchers and practitioners in Advanced Analysis, Risk and Reliability for the 6th Conference, to be held in London during 2-4 July 2012. The Conference intends to draw on recent experience in order to explore the full range of methods and procedures relevant to uncertainty modelling, reliability assessment and risk-based life-cycle management of engineering structures. Contributions involving generic methodologies and case studies, as well as comparative assessment across different industrial sectors are welcomed.
